At Muktoprep (accessible from https://muktoprep.com), one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of information that is collected and recorded by Muktoprep and how we use it.

Muktoprep is built as a privacy-friendly, student-first platform. We do not require users to create an account or provide personal phone numbers or passwords to practice questions, read study materials, or take model tests.

Muktoprep may display third-party advertisements served by Google AdSense to support free access to our educational database and server hosting infrastructure.

Third-party ad servers or ad networks use technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons in their respective advertisements and links that appear on Muktoprep. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or personalize advertising content.

Please note that Muktoprep has no direct access to or control over these cookies used by third-party advertisers.

To provide instantaneous response times and offline capability, Muktoprep stores your study progress (such as bookmarked questions, mistake logs in the Revision Vault, exam simulation scores, and daily streak counts) directly on your device via IndexedDB (Dexie.js) and LocalStorage.

This personal study data resides locally in your browser sandbox and is never transmitted to or stored on our external servers without your explicit action.

Muktoprep follows a standard procedure of utilizing server log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting services do this as part of hosting services' analytics.

The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any personally identifiable information and are used solely for analyzing site health, preventing security abuse, and optimizing server performance.

If you voluntarily choose to subscribe to daily study reminders or examination announcement alerts, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). An anonymous device token is generated to deliver notification payloads to your browser service worker.

You can revoke notification permissions at any time directly through your browser site settings.

Protecting children's privacy online is especially important. Muktoprep is an educational practice portal and does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you believe your child has provided personal information on our site, please contact us immediately so we can remove such records.
